To sum things up, with GSview Activation Key you get a very easy to use application that is most effective for managing PostScript files and, in case you don't have already a dedicated PDF viewer, it can also handle Portable Document Format files. With many useful functions and thanks to its simple interface , the program is well suited for all users. Files in PostScript format contain plain text, and are commonly used to transfer and print documents without making previous modifications. Handling PostScript (PS) files is a task that is less common that that which implies the use of PDF documents, but the two are, nonetheless related. These two formats are no strangers to Ghostscript, the interpreter for the PS files and if you need to view and print them easily, a GUI is necessary. GSview 6.0 Full Version license code is an interface that serves exactly the purpose mentioned above as it wraps Ghostscript functionality and makes it easier to access and use.

The PostScript page description language reports how a printed page will look like and it does so in even greater detail than a bitmap would. With GSview activator on your system, you will be able to load and edit files in Portable Document Format, PS and EPS as well. The program also provides bitmap conversion capabilities, measurement as well as conversion to vector functions. You can use the software for text extraction and even associate it with the PDF and PostScript file types.

We are using GSview Version 2.7 to view our output postscript files. We currently compare a series of output files using Beyond Compare. What we are looking to do is compare the text and graphs of the files using Beyond Compare, such that the text can be compared and the actual graphs can be compared with any differences marked. Unfortunately, Beyond Compare does not compare postscript files directly. The postscript file must be converted to an image file, such as PDF, TIFF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, or BMP and compared using Beyond Compare’s Picture Compare to highlight differences within the images. My questions are: I have attempted to convert a postscript file (.prn is how it is saved) to a PDF file (using a virtual PDF printer), but when I print via GSView, nothing happens. I am however able to convert other files outside of GSView to PDF. Are there any features within GSView that could be used to do this? How would I convert a postscript file (.prn is how it is saved) to any other image file mentioned above? Are there any features within GSView that could be used to do this? Is there any other product that could be used to compare the text and graphs in 2 different postscript files. Because we are currently using Beyond Compare, we prefer to use this software to do the comparisons. I appreciate your help. Please let me know if I should call to discuss.

I have searched for a way to compare PRN files, but there isn’t one. No application is available for this process, instead there are apps that have the capability of comparing various files. You can browse the database of Software Informer to obtain additional information about these apps. Secondly, I have also checked the Beyond Compare website and its feature and the best way is to contact them.

  1. the one downside for me was the price. this application does “just one task” and as such, i find the price expensive… BUT, i still recommend this due to its “cleansing” effect that you will get when your computer is cleaner and organised.

  2. Other than the disk cloning tool, version 2012 seems to be entirely constructed of bugs. I haven’t seen commercial software this bad since Wordperfect 6.0 for Windows 3.1. They couldn’t have made it worse if they had deliberately set out to do so. Nothing works the way it is supposed to. Their knowledge base is one enormous mass of bugs but contains no actual working solutions. Their user forum is filled to overflowing with messages from distraught customers.

  3. 1.) I couldn’t see ANY FILES in scan results, ONLY folders/subfolers, although found file types were listed throughout the scan. I selected 5 folders to download. They downloaded as blank folders, except one .exe file in a folder
2.) I called the 1-888# to ask if this was a bug. The Indian guy anxiously asked me 5 times if he could remotely login to my computer. I replied that he shouldn’t have to remote in to assess the problem. He then said he couldn’t help but advised me to call back in the morning. So I called back and the next Indian guy insisted on remoting in. He immediately went to “event viewer”–> “custom views”–> “admin events”, which listed several “warning” and “error” events and exclaimed “OH YOU HAVE SO MANY VIRUSES!” I called his BS b/c I’m an engineer and knew that these “events” WERE NOT VIRUSES. Event descriptions proved that most were from ADR (NOTE I tried 4 other data recovery sw before this and NONE made these “events”) and the rest were low HD space warnings.

  4. I also used some software that can help me vacate some memory space from my hard disk. DuplicateFileDeleter is one of the best software I used especially when I noticed a slower speed from my PC.

  5. In the last few upgrades they have added system care package to the program. Even though it clearly states that it’s a trial, there’s no way to turn it off. I already have all the system utility’s I need. I don’t want to have to constantly close popup windows telling me that my computer need a whole list of fixes, that I know it doesn’t. Even if you go to your open programs icon and close it, it will pop up again. It’s aggravating.

  6. I get an “Access Denied” when I try to upload Word files from my computer to my website with my CS3 program. This did not happen when I used CS3 to upload files last spring. Has my computer downloaded some security software that I don’t know about that makes it impossible for me to post items from my computer to my website? Any idea what I can do about it?

  7. Knocks out your working backup system. No indication that it is backing up or restoring. Log froze up computer.Backup data location scrambled.I spent a week getting the backup system to work 87% worth.

  8. it doesn’t have any control over the volume equalization option, but that is not a concern for me

  9. – interface needs some streamlining and better categorization. you have to open each tool for individual settings. takes time getting used to.

    – integrates a trial version of “daily health check’. a crap application nobody would pay for anyway.

    – some tools that are better not used/ not worth using. services, control panel and font manager, live file compression are some
very advanced level tools that might mess up an otherwise healthy system.

  10. Every time you exit the software, it starts up my browser and goes to their web site. Have to pay them to avoid this happening, although it’s not much. Although the software is international, the payroll only any use in the United Kingdom.

  11. Although it will do a backup, be forewarned that it will NOT back up your Autotext if you had an older version of the OS).
Also, it will not sync with Outlook at all, which is pretty frustrating since I use my Outlook contacts and calendars at my desk, and now I have to enter everything twice.
