Can you copy and paste e-mails and contacts using PST Viewer?

No. This software doesn’t have such a feature. Using this you can only open and view PST files.

  1. Please disregard my prior post, about the “administrator” preventing download of Kernel Outlook PST Viewer from ‘software.informer’ onto my private Windows 7 PC. I went to another website that enabled downloading Kernel, and it worked fine. I really like the Kernel software: fast, efficient, free! I’d give it 5 stars if I could. It WOULD be nice if it enabled some simple changes to the files, such as allowing attachments (which DO open OK) to be copied, or deletion of files. — Bruce in Chapel Hill

  2. This is excellent software for Outlook PST (personal storage table) and email viewing.

  3. It does not install – the “installer” program deletes itself, does something, but it does not install. Not to Firefox.

I give it one star because I cannot not give it zero.

  5. Tells me to “Check System State” then tells me my computer needs lots of help. I only hit the button to see if it would find ANYTHING. Let’s see, I don’t allow cookies in most of my browsers, automatically delete all traceable information when I close a browser. Have my security setting so high it takes extra effort to log into anything with https: and just did an extensive defrag with a REAL program and it says my computer is 21% fragmented! NO WAY.

  6. Full support at the developers website, no questions go unanswered. Love the support. Can’t think of any dislikes.

  7. It uninstalled Freecorder – which I know for a matter of fact isn’t malware. Even though it is a toolbar, it actually WORKS, so it’s unfortunate that it is removed. However, it is a free program, so an easy install to fix.

  8. A consistently unreliable product with each release fix some bugs but introducing lots of new ones. Their support is really poor. The latest is that they only provide 30 days of support for free. Email support tickets can take weeks to resolve.

  9. I would have liked a Gantt display option, but that’s a lot to ask. A Gantt export plug-in is available, but I haven’t figured it out yet.

  10. Default tuneup is dangerous — it will download corrupted “updated” drivers and screw up your system. If you call their tech support, they will give you attitude and then tell you that you need to pay another $99 for “advanced technical support” to fix problems that didn’t exist until the “optimizer” created them. My computer had its functioning display driver replaced with one that gave such poor resolution, you could barely read the icons. After 2 calls to their tech support, I gave up on getting any assistance from them without a ransom payment, and downloaded new drivers from NVIDIA’s website while in safe mode. If you make the mistake of shelling out 40 bucks for this “program,” DO NOT let it update your drivers or you will be sorry.

  11. Lists some features as “off” even though they’re not available (free version), could be more customizable, advertises other company products, could offer a more “advanced” or flexible settings, quarantine pops up in settings, little awkward.

  12. comes with malware inserts, don’t know if it comes from this website or from AVC itself but beware that it will install, the one I got was Search extensions SPIGOT, it was easy enough to get rid of but still annoying it changed my browser right after installation of ACV it re-directs to Yahoo search engine

  13. I wrote an image of my newly installed XP to a second hard drive, then burned that image to a DVD. Tried to restore from the DVD, the program wouldn’t do it, said the file was corrupt. Tried to create the image direct to DVD, the program wouldn’t do it. This happened twice, with two different reasons given. First time it ejected the DVD abd asked for CD, second time it said it was a trial version and wouldn’t proceed. So, tried to create image to a set of CDs. On the third CD, the program quit with errors. There seems to be no way to write only the third CD again, and I already have enough coasters. So, I have no way of knowing whether the image I made can be restored or not. I would have thought that was fairly important information. Oh, and I didn’t try to restore from the second hard drive because I have zero confidence, based on what I’ve seen of the program so far, that this software wouldn’t trash the disk.

  14. Messes up my video display. seems to show two copies of page slightly offset diagonally. large black bar at bottom of screen. Top of page (min, max, shutdown buttons) off top of screen. Locks up, escape impossible. Must use task Manager to exit.
