  1. free version will only convert part of a document … must pay for the full document.
gives error with openoffice … requires office 2003.

  2. The menu disappears without notice (see “reading mode”); messages obstruct view of the document; sometimes does not show document. Looks like a beta. The installer installed McAfee software on my computer against my will. And it is slow.

  3. Doesn’t work. Pure and simple, does not work and there is absolutely NILL support from the publisher. They don’t even respond to emails.

  4. I’d like to record the music on a CD so I can take it with me. I don’t think this is possible. Am I incorrect?

  5. Had previous version, worked great, flexible. New version allows only PNG file save. Took forever to find where it saved the grab. It wasn’t broke and didn’t need fixing.

  6. error msg:
The requested URL /downloadcom/s/software/12/24/68/21/cnet_setup_tm++_exe.exe was not found on this server.

  7. The only downside is Iobit doesn’t cut me checks for being an unaffiliated techie fanboy who lavishes praise upon their software and highly recommends it to everyone I meet on the job.

  8. A lot of errors while connecting to gmail and other emails
Sometime delayed opening the message and gives message “Download next time”
    Very annoying message

  9. When I try to save, it tells me another user has it open (untrue), when I try to delete – after I’ve saved it somewhere else so I can save it where it belongs – same thing. It’s always been bad in this way but version XI Pro is worse. I miss the typewriter. The text box doesn’t work nearly as well. The program never knows where it just was seconds ago. It returns to the document I worked on yesterday. I think, given its cost, if it wasn’t so useful as a portable doc format, it would have been dumped in the trash can of tech history years ago.

  10. Many hours wasted struggling to get this to work. It would run for hours, then get “server unavailable”, “connection lost” (I have very reliable cable internet), etc. Uninstalling took > hour and required me disabling running ans startup services and processes individually and manually. Tech support said they would email me chat logs, but they never did until I told them that I had taken screen shots of the chat. Then all kinds of logs showed up…. They had my correct email (gmail) all along. Nothing in spam or trash, just suddenly they could email me. Very low trust level for Acronis folks.

  11. Major memory leak. After a few hours of running time my laptop would stop being able to launch new programs due to lack of resources (w/ 4 gb ram installed). If left long enough the screen would seize and require a hard reboot to recover.

  12. Doesn’t find duplicate files correctly, says that there are duplicate files that don’t exist, and only searches 30 duplicate files unless you pay for the paid version.

  13. After a few days’ use, I began getting a slowly growing number of ‘ghost’ or ‘phantom’ messages (i.e. DELETED messages still showing there, as well in the ‘Smart Folders’ as in accounts’ Trash & Junk folders). A check showed that they were NO MORE in the servers’ folders: so, IMHO, the bug should be in the client.

  14. I wanted to compare to directories with the same file names (two Java projects, one a bit older than the other one). I had to pick up the files one by one, which is quite annoying for 30+ files. I would love an automated way.
